Terms And Conditions:

The Installer is to provide and install retrofit fan coil(s) and/or heat pump(s) within the scheduled time agreed upon with the client and determined in conjunction with the resident, building management, fan coil manufacturer, and fan coil installer. The Scope of Work is included in the PDF attachment on the main registration page. By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you are agreeing to this Scope of Work. Should you wish a signed Scope of Work document, please contact us and we will be happy to provide it.

Prior to installation, the existing fan coil will be tested to ensure the water shut-off valves function properly. Unless stated otherwise, if one or both existing valves will not close to turn off the water, we will need your building engineering department to assist in this matter and there may be an additional cost if they need to be replaced.

The condition of the water riser in older buildings varies significantly and is difficult to determine as it is behind a wall. Should there be any visible concerns, we will notify building management immediately. We are not responsible for issues caused by the condition of existing risers.

The far majority of our installations do not require any work to the existing drywall. While we make every effort not to damage the wall around the fan coil, the age and condition of the plaster may make it unavoidable. Should there be damaged drywall, plaster or baseboard, patching and painting is not included.

To perform the work effectively and safely, the installers need 3-feet clear on either side of the fan coil and 6-feet in front. The resident is to move any furniture, wall paintings, or any other objects within this area. We are not responsible for any damage to furniture that is not removed.

All sales and deposits are final and subject to the warranty terms stated below. Payment terms are based on the payment schedule selected. Deposit & balance remaining will both be charged on the credit card submitted to us. Your card will be charged automatically upon completion of installation. If there is a payment plan, your card will be charged every month based on what was agreed to on checkout.

Warranty:

The Installer warrants this product against failure due to defects in materials or workmanship under normal use and maintenance. All warranty periods begin on the date of the original installation and last for a period of 2 years, unless stated otherwise. If a part fails due to a defect during the applicable warranty period, the Installer will provide a new part to replace the failed defective part at no charge for the part, as well as the labor to install the defective part. Except as otherwise stated herein, those are Installer’s exclusive obligations under this warranty for a product failure. This limited warranty is subject to all provisions, conditions, limitations, and exclusions listed below in this document.
